Laptop Usb stopped working , pls heeeeelp !! ASAP?

i have 2 usb ports in my laptop , i used one of them 2 days ago as a sort of energy for a Dc motor (ventilator..) and everything was all right , but today it stopped working (not totllay actually but works a while then stops with any device i plug into it)...plss help me i reaaly need it ..and tell me if that is dangerous and need repair , or a system restore or any suggestions u have !! thnx
