How would you handle this?

I have a preemie, my son was born at 29 weeks. Due to his poor lung function he had to be on a ventilator that caused some trauma to his airway. He checked out fine everywhere else but he has to have a tracheotomy for about another 8 months. Since he has a trach we receive nursing hours, about 40 hrs a week. At first I was very apprehensive about it and felt an invasion on my space in my home. Now I am more accepting and appreciate most of my nurses. However I still have those couple of nurses that make me feel uneasy about things I want to do as the parent or there are times that I just want to be left alone with my husband and baby. I am considering dismissing my nursing help and doing this on my own. How can I communicate this to supervision about how I want things to flow in my home as the parent before I make such a huge decision that I could later regret?
