Is this reaction inhumane?

Maybe I am a bit inhuman myself but I think in a situation like that, that I would be relieved too. I understand where your coming from in the sense that all they have done is hurt your family and its not a surprise that, that anger is till there. The only thing I can say is try to forgive him and let go of your anger because in the end its only hurting you. You sound like a good person who just wants to protect your family. Unfortunately these other family members don't care about your anger and having it is just wasting your energy. You don't have to feel bad about your cousin and you don't have to forgive him but letting go of your anger is necessary for you to heal and move on.
