Document what you see as neglect in case this ever goes to court. Take her back to a doctor ASAP (at a different facility if possible). Sometimes patients are discharged because the insurance companies will only allow X number of days for a particular admit. If the patient is readmitted it would be for a different reason and the length of stay allowed would correspond to the new reason.
